Looking back, it seems almost surreal. No one could have predicted its subsequent success, but when the ELAC Elegant 305 first filled the room with sound 20 years ago, listeners closed their eyes and lost themselves in the music and the intervening years have flown by.

Although the concept might not have been new, its implementation was impressively meticulous. A loudspeaker with ultra-compact dimensions that was both elegant and acoustically overwhelming. What sounds like an impossible dream has been a reality for 20 years … and is now crowned with the new BS 312.

The multi-award-winning JET   5 tweeter and a new woofer specially developed for the BS  312 ensure that electric signals are flawlessly converted into a superlative audio experience. This perfect partnership endows the BS  312 with unprecedented precision and dynamics in any position and in direct comparison to its redecessor.

Consistency down to the finest detail every aspect of the BS  312 has been carefully thought out. While premium components such as generously sized aircore coils, high-quality film capacitors and carefully selected wiring play their part on the inside, the rear of the speakers features a new bass reflex tube with further optimized flow characteristics and sturdy connection terminals.
