iFi iDefender+ (USB C TO C)
Break the loop
When iDefender+ is connected to the USB port of the source device such as a PC, iDefender+ detects if there is a ground loop problem. It blocks the ground loop by cutting the ground loop "intelligently" the grounding of the source equipment, which not only eradicates hum and buzz noise, but also lowers the noise floor of the system, improves resolution and dynamic contrast.
When the source device, the device device connected to iDefender+, works with self-power, simply by sandwiching the iDefender+ between it, it is effective. In the case of bus power operation, it is effective by supplying power from the USB-C port on the side.
Improvements to iDefender+
Removes USB power noise by disconnecting the ground/ground loop in the correct way. Significantly reduces the noise floor of the system, improving dynamic contrast, music richness and resolution.
Inject a clean 5V power supply through the USB-C port on the side. This causes the USB bus power supply to be disconnected from the PC and replaced with a clean external power supply. For ultra-low noise, use the iPower 5V.
If the device equipment is bus-powered operation, an external 5V power supply must be added to the USB-C port on the side to disconnect the ground/ground loop. For self-powered device devices, it is effective just by simply pinching iDefender+.
iDefender+ is compatible with SuperSpeed USB3. It features a more thorough wiring specification that allows for more audio transfer while maintaining backward compatibility. High quality gold-plated ports/plugs are built in for optimal signal transfer.
